Our Capabilities

Petty has the ability to provide complete part-ready-for-assembly services. We offer clients with aerospace machining, medical machining, industrial machining or other needs a simple, single source for their finished part – saving time, cost and hassles.

We have a 22,000 square foot production area with 13 work cells. Each cell consists of two CNC lathes and at least one CNC mill. Our forging machining cell has two CNC forging machines with four spindles.

 

With our small-volume production of 1 to 1,000 parts and a size range of 3/16” to 3” bar capacity, Petty Machine & Tool, Inc. may not be the biggest, but we are the best! Our capabilities extend to sizes up to 10” in small quantities. We offer excellence in small volume production runs. With the ability to grow as customer demand requires, we are also happy to handle higher volumes.

The cellular manufacturing style used at Petty Machine & Tool, Inc allows for increased throughput, decreased costs, lessened lead-times, higher reliabilities and reduced inventories. Petty Machine & Tool, Inc. is also a lean enterprise, meaning that more is done with less, eliminating waste and allowing the production of what you want, when you want it.

 

The materials Petty Machine & Tool, Inc. works with include stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, brass and plastics. Whether the services you require include tool steel, forgings, or machined shapes of elbows, Ts and crosses, turn to Petty.

Complete Part Processes

 

Petty Machine & Tool, Inc. has NADCAP-certified suppliers to handle all outside suppliers, so we can anodize, passivate, heat treat, dry film, FPI and more. With our CAD system, we can read your data. We also have the ability to provide electronic FAI documentation.

 

Petty Machine & Tool, Inc. can perform minor assembly services when required.
